- 55-member Team USA named - USATF officials found it fit to fill all 55 spots for the World Youth Champs in Italy, Mike Kennedy reports.
- Wednesday - Super doubles for Purvis, Crouser - Ciarra Brewer CA US#1 43-04.25 TJ (-0.9w) for #7 all-time and David Smith GA 7-02.50 HJ end field action with a bang. Super sprint double for Ashton Purvis CA (US#3 23.38 200, +0.2w; 11.61 100, +0.0w). Ryan Crouser OR completes throws double with WY#2 207-09 DT. After lackluster prelims, WY#1 Ebony Eutsey FL wins 400 from lane 1 (52.78) and Kori Carter hits WY#1 13.48 100H (+0.0).
