HL#4 Iowa City West girls won the MVC Conference
Divisional meet for the 8th consecutive year, 36-44, beating the 2 teams
who beat them at the MVC Super Meet last Thursday. After having lost
by 14 & 7 points to
Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids Kennedy on October 6th, the ICW team came
back to beat them by 8 and 39 points respectively last night. Their top
five finished in the top 14 at the meet with jr-Sarah
Wickman, 14:39,
claiming Mississippi Valley Conference Athlete of the Year award for
her win by 12 seconds.
