Adam Fretwell dominates with
7260 points
Texan Adam Fretwell won the first two events on Thursday and the first four events Friday to dominate the competition. Robbie Marin, Fort Collins CO, finished second in the hurdles, discus, and pole vault to edge local favorite Derek McDonald for second, 6590 to 6578.
Fretwell made the third best decathlon score in the history of the Great Southwest, and his 14.26 110H win was the best ever by a GSW decathlete.
