When you are looking at potential winners on the girls side don't overlook
Rebecca Mitchell So. from Illinois.  She finished 2nd in the midwest
qualifying but has always been a big meet performer.  She was 5th last year
at f-l as a frosh, is a national JO recorder holder in 1500 as well as
Illinois state 2x cross champion and 1600 meter champ in track.  The young
lady who beat Rebecca at the midwest meet Christin Wurth is also no slouch.
The kids here often race in brutal conditions and are meet tough.
