GIRLS RESULTS - 2 miles

HIGHLIGHTS: Krissy Cusimano (Class 5A) had
fastest time at 12:09.  Lauren Byrd won the
Class 2A race for the 6th state title of her
career.  Pre-meet state No. 1 (all classes)
Mount Carmel won Class 5A, while No. 2 St.
Scholastica was third and No. 3 St. Joseph's
was second.  No. 4 St. Thomas Aquinas won
Class 2A, No. 5 Baton Rouge was third in
Class 4A, and No. 6 Catholic-NI won Class 3A.
Class 4A winner St. Paul's was not ranked
in pre-meet poll.
