Marcell Allmond wins 2nd straight national title
Marcell Allmond, Ca Santa Fe Springs 12, wins easily with 3,908 total (USL). Allmond won the same event last year at the NSI in Boston. NOTE: There were no results in the 1000 for anyone other than Allmond because of an error in the lap count. All runners ran an extra lap so the automatic timing had no results at the 1000 meter mark; a handheld time was recorded for Allmond but the places for the other competitors were determined by only four events.
