State records and other noteworthy marks: Jessica Schenck, Fitch 11:04.97
(SR); Keshia Haughton beat Hillhouse teammate Nicolette Chambers in the 55m hurdles,
8.06 to 8.13 (both better than the old state open record), but Chambers turned the tables
in the long jump, 17-9 to 17-6; Rachel D'Amora, Wilber Cross 40.82 300m and 1:16.80 500m;
Xavier boys 8:06.24 4x800 over Fairfield 8:07.23 (both better than the old state open
record); Sheldon Simpson, E. Hartford 6.47 55m and 35.30 300m; Amy
