State Meet

11/6/99 at Red Rock State Park

Felicia Guliford of Gallup dominated the 4A girls state meet with a course record 18:58, winning by 93 seconds. Her time was only 88 seconds slower than boys 4A champion Matt Gonzales, Santa Fe 17:30. Guliford was 4th at the Foot Locker national finals as a freshman last year and won the first Great American Cross Country Festival at Charlotte NC earlier this year. Gallup swept the 4A team titles. Fastest boy of the day was Ben Ortega, Taos 17:16.
