Highlights
- Led by the 1-2 finish of junior Bryce Jenkins (16:07) and senior Paul Williams (16:37), the Leilehua boys placed all five scorers in the top 20 for a comfortable 37-99 win over defending state champion Kamehameha-Kapalama. Iolani came in third with 116 points.
- Bryce Jenkins defended the individual title he won as a sophomore with his 16:07 tour of the Kapalua Village Golf Course layout, shepherding his team to the school's first Hawaii state cross country title.
- Defending girls' champion Punahou made it three straight titles on the strength of their 3-4-5 runners, Farrah Madanay, Courtney Choy and Breehn Sasaki, who packed within ten seconds of each other and seized the 15th, 16th and 17th scoring positions to turn back a determined Seabury Hall squad, 64-72. Just as they had in the boys race, Iolani took third in the team finish, tallying 107 points in this case.
- Sophomore Kristin Ali Keith of Mililani was the individual winner, cranking a 19:31 on the three-mile course for a ten second margin of victory over Haley Abing's (La Pietra jr) 19:41 clocking.
