This year, she did it again in spectacular fashion -- 11.65, 23.32, 52.63 and 20-9. She is first in the country in the 200, 7th in the 100, third in the 400, and third in long jump.</tagline>

What's up guys. Back again to write some more to share what I have been up to. Well, I have been so busy in the last I guess you can say week because I have had relatives come in from out of town for graduation and just with finish up high school.

This past saturday was one of the happiest days of my life next to your birthday, christmas, and some even say your wedding day. My graduation wasn't even that long and it kind of hit me when I was seating down listening to the songs and the people speak it is really over with. You know you say you can't wait until I graduate and leave but it is more to that. You are about to step into a world of the unknown and be out there somewhat on your own not able to have mommy or daddy come to your rescue. I'm not nervous or scared but excited and actually ready for this challenge. To the younger kids, just enjoy your years in high school because you know what they go by so quickly, especially if you play sports.

I kicked with my friends and family this past weekend, going to breakfast, lunch after graduation parties and I had the chance to be on a radio station here in chicago, 92.3 FM. It is one of the most listened to stations here. I had people call and text message me like I heard you on the radio. One thing I will always do in being blessed in certain situations where you can make a difference and influnce someone's life, is always help and give words of encouragement. I will always rep for the city of Chi. It was my first experience on the radio but it went actually well. It is kindda just like talking to a reporter but it is broadcasted. I was so excited and I had the chnce to meet a professional football player too who was on the show also.

My mom, aunt, dad, and sister came with me. I brought my sister though into the studio with me. She is fourteen so she kindda thinks she is grown but I always want to include her in some of the things that I do so she knows that she can be big in basketball and do some of the things that I was able to do in high school. Anybody, boy or girl can do what I have done and the many of those before me. You just have to remain focused on the prize and know that it is in arms reach.

I started back practicing on Monday doing mostly speed work, ins and outs, hurdle hops, accelerations and weight room. Nothing really to big because it is now late in the season and you do most of your hard training doing indoor and the earlier part of outdoor.

I went earlier Monday morning and got my first tattoo. It didn't even hurt but it did around the bone on my shoulder blade and I cried like a big baby. but I was a solider though. Then tuesday all I did was exchanges and 100s. And today I did a 400 split, running a 300 with a minute break after then running a 100.

The weather today was totally different from that of monday and tuesady. It wa like 10-15 degrees cooler. That is one thing about Chicago, We have some funny weather but you bear it, get through it and accomplish what you have to do.

My team and I leave tomorrow morning for North Carolina. I ready and so are they. We are so excited because this is going to be my last outdoor with them. It is going to be something I am always going to remember.I will be sad but like I said before you have to move on to the next leave something, I hope all of you plan to do because the sky is the limit. We come back sunday and then tuesday I leave to go to California to try to be on the PanAm team. I hope I make it because i have the times and have prepared for this from the beginning of the season. Like I always say, no big.

One thing I want to accomplish this weekend is just to do good and win. I think everyone wants to win. This summer I plan to run, work, and just kick it with my friends. I can't wait until the Taste of Chicago, where you get to eat what you want from all the different types of restauarants in Chicago.

Well like I said I am going to end each blog, with some words of encouragement "Live each day like it is your last and ALWAYS HAVE FUN!" Keep it real, Alex.

Waz up everyone, my name is Alex and this is my first official entry into my online blog.

Well first I would like to introduce myself. I am 18 years old, which I turned, like, at the beginning of this year on January 28, which makes me an Aquarius.

I am a senior, which is one of the most exciting and happiest things right now in my life. I have waited so long for this year and now it is going to be over in less than three days. I graduate this Saturday, which can already wait.

Wrapping up my high school career is actually to be honest, I am going to miss. I am going to miss my teammates and my coaches and all the fun things we have done, the girl talks, the 10 fingers (it's a game), and just acting a fool with them.

Looking back to my goals when I started out, I wouldn't change anything about these past for years because I accomplished most of what I wanted to do. I say to everyone, freshmen to seniors, set goals for yourself, it makes the process easier and funnier.

I enjoy traveling and one thing track has allowed me to do is see the world. To be able to leave Chicago and see the many different cultures. It is a blessing and something I never take for granted.

I am very spiritual in my religion. I read my bible or verses like everyday because I know without God I wouldn't have been able to accomplish alll that I have and also to have good health.

I just think I have a normal life with a normal family and friends, but I am not like the normal teenage girl. I think that no athlete is like the regular teenager.

To celebrate my graduation, I think I am going kick it with my family and my friends and go to a couple of parties. I actually took all my finals yeterday and don't have to come back to school.

This summer I plan to kick it too hard. I mean do everything with my friends because I won't see them for quite sometime. My bestfriends, are to FAMU AND Xavier in New Orleans. I have know two out of the three, the two I just mentioned for 12 years. I am going to run and still train because I am trying to make this Pan Am team, which if I made it would be so cool.

I love volleyball that is why I played it for all four years of high school, and I think that track runners just need a break from running . Some run year round and I know that could be so frustrating. Volleyball is my time away from track and i think that in high school athletes should play more than just one sport.

My advice to the younger kids is just enjoy what you do and always have fun doing it. No one wants to be stressed out. I wanna work this summer but don't know if I will have time for that.

I think when I leave for school the people i am going to miss the most is my frineds and my boyfriend. He travels a lot now so sometimes I won't see him for like seven months unless he comes home on one of his off days. He plays minor league baseball.

I love all types of music and basically will listen to anything. I like Alicia Keys, Amerie and JLo. My favorites movies are Forrest Gump, Color Purple and Playas Club. I am a movie buff. I know every line and action to all the movies right after I watch it and I watch all types of movies but my favorite kind are romantic ones. I am a very emotional person . I love to write poetry, skate ( roller and ice), ride bike, shop, and see the christmas lights around christmas time on the houses.

And eat. I love to eat. My favorite food are tacos and frenchfries which may not be considered part of an athlete's diet.

I really don't have a personal style. I like to wear what looks good on me but I love to show my legs because they are long and toned. My teammates always make fun of how I have big calves but it is just in my genes. My friend says my legs look like baseball bats.

Well I just wanted to give you a little intorduction into who I am because I think it is important. i hope you got a chance to get to know a little about me. I'd like to end with this though : Live life to the fullest and like it is your last day.
