NTS-Timing, the timing contractor for Nevada Track Stats, uses Time Machine for cross country race timing along with Hy-Tek (may be switching to Easy Meet Manager soon...but that's a different topic all together). We just purchased and installed the Wireless Computer Interface for the Time Machine. No more connecting the wire to the serial port on your computer...it's BlueTooth enabled. Anyway, if you are using this wireless interface with HyTek, do not follow the direction in the Time Machine Wireless Interface manual. If you do, it will assign a Com Port #, like 39 or 40, which is not compatible with Meet Manager. Run the software disc that comes with the Micro Adapter. Manually set the Com Port to 1,2,3,4 etc. up to 16, whichever Com port you have available. It will warn you not to do this...BUT DO IT. Then it will work with MM. Be sure to assign your Com Port on HyTek to the same number you assigned your adapter.
