Does anyone know the vendor that sold the little pendants with the USATF Logo on it? They were the vendors printing the tee shirts in the white tent.

will the 80m Hurdles championship video for girls from today be posted?
Shane
Sorry it took awhile to post. The race can now be found in its appropriate folder.

Watch 4x400, 9-10 boys, heat 4. Jets DQ'd (broke early). Wrong! Worst call ever, clearly see 2nd leg did as he should. USATF officials will not change or even consider. Kids work too hard for adults to screw up.

Chris Angel (mind freak) must have been on here. Video disappeared.

Video back up.

A lot of the posts on here about coverage and specific races are getting rather ridiculous. 8500 athletes, hundreds and hundreds of races on demand with LIVE FREE streaming, multiple camera's, graphic overlays, real time results, great commentary and a heck of a dedicated team working their tails off for days on end to make it happen is pretty darn awesome and the best I've ever seen for a Junior Olympics event - period. Perfect, no. Is the team and production aspects moving in the right direction? If the difference over the course of a year is any indication, we should all be grateful for the leadership and insight to make it even possible. instead of blasting frustration, please realize a lot of our youth is looking for a mature response from all of us in how we handle our comments.

LIVE ... and FREE.....if it was 5$ they would find something wrong with that! #coachv

Where is the 13-14 Girls 3000racewalk from the first day of competition. It looks like every race is posted for the first day EXCEPT the one we want to see. Please can you get this race uploaded for us. We have over 50 people waiting to see this race. It would have been great to have had it live like we have had at all the other Junior Olympics in the past.
Looking forward to seeing this race posted on the system.

For Immediate Release:
Story:

Taylor Ewert, from Beavercreek, Ohiio, won her third consecutive 1500 meter national title to highlight the first day of race walking at the USATF Junior Olympic National Track & Field Championships in Greensboro, North Carolina. It was a very close race with Camila Vicens from Houston, Texas. Vicens led the first three circuits of North Carolina A&T University's 400 meter oval before Ewert took charge with 300 meters remaining. The soon to be 12 year old, with the local Miami Valley Track Club, won in 7:24.86 to 7:27.72 for Vicens.

Last year's 2nd place finisher to Ewert in the 11-12 race, won this year's 13-14 (youth girls) 3,000m race walk. Kirra Facer, from Southern California's Temecula Rangers TC held off pre-race favorite Melissa Endy to win in 16:45.71.

In the 13-14 boys 3,000 meter race walk Jonathan Aguilar won narrowly over Nehemiah Cionelo of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Auguilar's winning time was 15:40.72. Like Facer, on the girls side, he will be young enough to defend in the same division next year.

Meanwhile, Michael Belovich, a Springfield Catholic freshman with the local Miami Valley TC, charged hard over the last 250 meters to catch and then pass two other walkers, and place 4th overall out of the 28 competitors in the youth boys 13-14 division race. His medal winning performance time, a 65 second personal improvement over his previous best, netted him a fourth place finish overall in 16:45.71.

Also vying for a top 8 spot and a step on the awards podium at NC A&T university's stadium were Grace Endy from Westfield, New Jersey, in the 10 and younger girls 1500m race walk and Christopher Renn in 10 & younger boys race. Endy won out over her 1500 meter competitors with a 9:04.16 clocking. Meanwhile Christopher Renn, from Fair Lawn, NJ, dominated the 10 and younger boys division with a victorious effort walked in 9:14.09.

Ewerts first national title was as a bantam in 2011. Her winning time in Monday's race is the fastest 1500m walked at Nationals by a girl since 2000. We won't even mention that she beat the first place 11-12 boy at today's meet by 74 seconds. New Jersey's Evan Castro was that top guy as he won over 16 other 11-12 year old males with a comparatively pedestrian like time of 8:38.95.

oops, I guess we did.

The Junior Olympic National Championships in Track & Field continues Tuesday with the race walks once again headlining the day's action. Over 30 young ladies are entered in the 15-16 girls race at 9am. The 17-18 women follow immediately thereafter. The 15-16 boys taken center stage at 11am with the 17-18 year old young men following suite.

You can watch the video's of the races at the internet's newest on-line T&F news station, USATF's own www.usatf.tv But don't expect to see it in real time as some one made a very poor decision not to show the race walks live.

I am not sure why someone feels the need to make a comment regarding Ewert beating the time of the boy who placed first in the 11-12 boys division!! All of these children who compete in these competitions are giving it there all and train very hard to get where they are! How about just leaving the obnoxious comments to yourself! EVAN CASTRO GAVE IT HIS ALL AND NO ONE REALLY CARES THAT EWERT BEAT HIS TIME BY 74 SECONDS!

Where are the13-14 and 11-12 girls races?
rangerscoach
I am frustrated that I can't watch the first two days of events live, and after waiting for over six hours and seeing races that happened more than 4 hrs after the 3000m meter 13-14 yr old girls race walk come up for viewing their race is still not up. I think that it is ridiculous that we cant watch events live on the first two day like we could in the past. It is great that we can watch for free, but would rather pay the $7 and watch live. When can I expect to see race video up for this event?

USATF Junior Olympic Nationals <-> Live on the Internet

GREENSBORO, N.C. — REENSBORO, N.C. — The next generation of stars in track & field take center stage at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track & Field Championships on July 22 through July 28 on the campus of North Carolina A&T State University. And the race walks will help kick off the competitions at 11:45am on Monday morning (July 22nd).

And the first final on the track Monday will be the 3,000m race walks for the 13-14 divisions, at 11:45am. It will be followed by the 13-14 division race for the boys. And expect multiple sections in several of the age groups over the two days of race walk competitions as 193 walkers are entered to compete in the 5 age divisions for boys and girls.

The 1500m race walks for 10 & Younger girls (formerly called Bantams) will be at 1:45pm. The 11-12 girls & boys (previously called the midget division) will get underway at 3:15pm in the afternoon.

On Tuesday the race walk get underway again at 9am with the 15-16 and 17-18 races for the women. Over 40 young ladies are expected to compete in these two races alone. It should be a field day for college recruiters.

Then the young men in the 15-16 and 17-18 divisions will complete the finals for day two at 11:00am. Most of the Men's USA Junior National team will be competing in these races as a tune-up for the coming USA-vs-Canada Dual Duel in Boston on Sunday, August 4th.

So if the mulit-event sport's 100m races are up, can't the live video be turned on with a fixed camera position to watch the race walk? The schedule now says live video will be on only 24-28 - skipping the 22nd and 23rd...
