Put Your Hand on Seven

The relevant meet records at Detweiler:

Boys -- Craig Virgin (Lebanon), 1972, 13:50.6

Girls -- Madeline Perez (Glenbard West), 2012, 16:02

Course record-holder Madeline Perez is nearing full strength again after an injury and Stanford-bound Patrick Perrier of O'Fallon is favored on the boys side. Big question: Can York overcome recent setbacks to win its 29th state title?

This is a thread starter. We'll post updates as we get them on Saturday.

I think the wind played a big factor in yesterdays times being slow. All the races were off what I expected the times to be run. Especially the gilrs 1A race. I could not imaging getting psyched up for a 9:00 am race and have to stand for a half hour waiting to get started. I think that may have effeced some girls more than others. It was certainly a beautiful day to watch the greatest spectacle in cross country.
