The 51st Centennial Invitational, always one of the biggest track meets in the Northwest, will bring many of Oregon's best together with a strong contingent from Southwest Washington at Centennial High School in Gresham, Ore.

Grant of Portland appears to be putting together a strong group of sprinters that could help push the Generals over the top at the OSAA Championships for the 6A boys title. A healthy Harrison Schrage is a key component of that mix and he is entered in four events -- including the long jump and triple jump. Grant has the top seeds in the 100, 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x400.

The brother-sister pole vaulting duo from R.A. Long (Kelso, Wash.), Joey and Abby Weiler, are both entered at Centennial after sweeping at the Oregon Relays last weekend.

The boys 800 meters could produce something special with four entrants who have already gone under 1:55 this year: Roba Sultessa of Cleveland, Keaton Spiller of Heritage WA, Josiah Langstaff of Lincoln and Thomas Morrell III of Centennial.

Ben Milligan of Sherwood will try to keep his moment going in the high jump after clearing 7-0.25 last weekend.

Maddie Rabing, a junior from Lakeridge, the top thrower in Oregon, will try to win both the shot put and discus.

The Barlow OR girls, led by Danelle Woodcock, are the top seeded team in the 4x100 and also have firepower in the hurdles and jumps.

Ella Donaghu of Grant, coming back after missing a couple of weeks with mono, is entered in the 800 meters and will also run in the 4x400 relay.
