Run Of The Week Poll, 11/10/15

 

For the second straight week we are focusing the poll nominees to state meet winners because there were so many of them on Saturday. Lots of great choices this! Vote for your two favorites.

 

Judy Pendergast, Naperville North IL: Broke the 16-minute barrier at Detweiler Park with a time of 15:54 meet and course record.

 

Jon Davis, Oakwood IL: He ran 14:00 for the sixth-fastest time ever on the Detweiler Park course to win the Class 1A race.

 

Justin Janke, North Central WA: Led team to its 10 straight Class 3A victory with 15:02, fastest of the day in Washington.

 

Jordan Oakes, Holy Names WA: She ran 17:53.5 to win Class 3A for the fastest time for girls at the Washington state meet.

 

Jake Brophy, Central Bucks East PA: Sprinted to the lead in the final 50 to win his second straight Class AAA title.

 

Olivia Sargent, Pennsbury PA: She ran 18:01 on the state meet course in Hersey to win the Class 3A title.

 

Isaac Harding, Rockford MI: Led his team to the championship with winning time of 15:10.4 at Michigan Speedway.

 

Madison Troy, Grandville MI: Just a sophomore, she ran 17:28.2 to win the D1 title in Michigan.

 

Bailey Hertenstein, Riverview FL: She ran 17:32.6 to win the Class 4A girls race in Florida.

 

Steven Cross, Merritt Island FL: He ran 15:30.7 for the fastest time of the day at Apalachee Regional Park in Florida.

 

Bethany Hasz, Arlington MN: She ran 17:32.2 to lead a 1-2 finish with her sister Bethany in the Class AA race in Minnesota.

 

Jaret Carpenter, Wayzata MN: He ran 15:26.5 to win the boys Class AA race at St. Olaf College in Minnesota.

 

Taylor Werner, Ste. Genevieve MO: She ran 17:14.3 to win her fourth Division 3 state championship in Missouri.

 

Devin Meyrer, Lafayette MO: He ran 15:25.5 to win the Division 4 boys race at Oak Hills Golf Course. Lafayette went 1-2-5 in the race.

 

Andrew Jordan, Watkins Memorial OH: Broke the course record at National Trail Raceway with a winning time of 14:54.

 

Lainey Studebaker, Centerville OH: She ran 17:39 to win the Div 1 girls race at the Ohio state meet.

 

Lindsay Billings, Northview GA: She ran 18:10.8 and won the Georgia 6A race by nearly 45 seconds.

 

Nevada Mareno, Leesville Road NC: She won the Class 4A girls race by 45 seconds, in 17:46.5, in Kernersville.

 

Jeremy Brown, Needham Broughton NC: The senior won his second Class 4A state title in 15:44.7 in North Carolina.

 

Allie Schadler, Rio Rico AZ: The junior demolished the all-time state meet course record with 17:04.5 at Cave Creek Golf Course to win the D3 title.

 

Julia Heymach, Lamar TX: She covered the muddy course at Old Settlers in 18:19.6 to run off with the Class 6A title in Texas.

 

Amanda Mayoral, Cleveland NM: She ran 18:12 at the New Mexico state meet and won by 42 seconds.

 

Brodey Hasty, Brentwood TN: The sophomore ran 15:35.1 to win the Class AAA boys race in Nashville.

 

Taylor Cuneo, Central Magnet TN: She ran 18:21.3 to win the Class A-AA girls race by 24 seconds.

 

Cole Dowdy, South Oldham KY: He ran the fastest time ever on the Kentucky Horse Park course with 15:20.4 in the Class 3A race. His brother, Tanner, was third.

 

Eleanor Lawler, South Kingston RI: She ran 17:29.3 to break the course record for girls at the Rhode Island state meet.

 

David Principe Jr, La Salle RI: He dominated the boys state title race with 15:09.5 to smash the course record by more than 30 seconds.

 

Maegan Doody, Oyster River NH: She won the MOC title at Mines Falls with a time of 17:34.

 

 

Hannah DeBalsi, Staples CT: She ran 18:08 for her third consecutive CT Open title.
