Nike Cross Nationals takes place for the 12th time this Saturday in Portland. Since its inception, the event has hosted the nation’s best teams and many of its top individuals, building its own history and sense of prestige. With such history also comes data and statistics, which in today’s data-driven world are all the more fun to consume prior to race day.

Your lowest 2nd place for girls is incorrect. Temecula in 2014 lost by 79 with a score of 149. The three lowest 2nd place scores are by Saratoga Springs. 84 in 2011, 104 in 2010 and 112 in 2005.
