Double California State Champion Shae Anderson Chooses Oregon DucksBy Adam Kopet, DyeStat Editor Shae Anderson, the Norco CA senior, announced this week she has decided to run for Oregon next year. Anderson won California State titles in the 400 (52.91) and 300-meter hurdles (40.31). The latter was a personal best and US#3. Anderson ran a US#2 51.99 to win the 400 meters at the Mt. SAC Relays. Competing at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships, Anderson finished seventh in the 400 meters in 52.82. USC, San Diego State, Kentucky and Georgia also showed interest in Anderson according to Jeffrey Parenti of the Press-Enterprise. Anderson is the final member of a California-heavy recruiting class for the Ducks, one that already includes Lauren Rain Williams of Oaks Christian, Jasmin Reed of Serra, Kaylah Robinson of El Cerrito, Kiley McCarthy of Carlsbad, Cooper Teare of St. Joseph Notre Dame and Joseph Anderson of Upland. |
