Big Marks in Cross Country Highlight This Week's Performance of the Week List

It was a big week for high school and collegiate cross country. For the first time this season, some of the top collegiate teams went head to head with some interesting results. On the high school circuit, several large meets took place across the country, including Nike Portland XC, which produced two performances on this week's list. The pros were in action as well this week with the USATF 10 Mile Championships. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

London Culbreath: The high school sophomore from McKinney North TX won the elite 5k race at the Nike South Invitational by 14 seconds, running 17:29.

Sara Hall: The distance runner for Asics won the women's USATF 10 Mile Championships in 53:43, with a sprint finish that saw her win by two seconds over Natosha Rogers.

Lexy Halladay: The high school sophomore from Mountain View ID won the Jim Danner Championship race at Nike Portland XC on the former NXN course, running 17:19 for 5k.

Dylan Jacobs: The high school senior from Sandburg IL won the 3A race at the Peoria High Invitational by 34 seconds, running 13:57 for 3 miles. That was the #5 all-time mark on the Detweiller course.

Shadrack Kipchirchir: The 2017 IAAF World Championships qualifier won his first national title at the USATF 10 Mile Championships, winning in a photo finish with Leonard Korir in 47:33.

Zach Kreft: The high school senior from Buckeye Valley OH won the Midwest Meet of Champions by seven seconds, running 14:29 for 5k.

James Mwaura: The high school senior from Lincoln WA won the Jim Danner Championship race at Nike Portland XC on the former NXN course, running 14:54 for 5k.

Katie Rainsberger: The Oregon sophomore dominated the Oregon Bill Dellinger Cross Country Invitational, winning in a course record 18:47 for the 5.8k course.

Brooke Rauber: The high school freshman from Tully NY ran the fastest time of the day at the McQuaid Invitational, running 16:52 for 3 miles.

Karissa Schweizer: The Missouri senior won the Cowboy Jamboree by 29 seconds, running 19:56 for 6k.

Marlee Starliper: The high school sophomore from Northern PA broke the course record at the Carlisle Invitational by 27 seconds, running 16:50 for 5k.
