Kaela Edwards To Train Alongside Emma Coburn in Colorado

Track and Field News reports that Kaela Edwards is joining Emma Coburn in Boulder, Colo.

Edwards spent the past five years at Oklahoma State where she won the 2016 NCAA D1 Indoor Championships mile and set the 1,000-meter collegiate record (2:40.79). She has personal bests of 2:01.97 in the 800 meters, 4:10.46 in the 1,500 and 4:28.75 in the mile.

Now finished with school, Edwards has signed with adidas. Originally from Colorado, Edwards has returned to her home state to train alongside Coburn and Aisha Praught Leer under Coburn's husband, Joe Bosshard.

At this point, Edwards intends to stick with the middle distances and not join her new training partners in the steeplechase.
