Cross Country Championship Performances Lead This Week's Performance of the Week List

It was a busy week for championship style cross country meets across the country at both the high school and collegiate levels. The NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships saw the best collegiate distance runners and teams compete. At the high school level, there were three more state or meet of champions style meets along with two NXR Regional meets. Also, there was a big American pro performance at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon. View the choices and vote for this week's DyeStat Performance of the Week!

Matthew Baxter: The Northern Arizona junior finished a close second at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships, leading his team to the title and running 29:01.8 for 10K.

Carter Cheeseman: The high school junior from Fort Worth Christian TX won the championship race at the NXR South Regional by less than a second, running 15:34 for 5K.

London Culbreath: The high school sophomore from MnKinney North TX won the championship race at the NXR South Regional by 14 seconds, running 17:33 for 5K.

Devin Hart: The high school junior from Point Pleasant Boro NJ won the New Jersey Meet of Champions by nine seconds, running 15:35 for 5K.

Haley Herberg: The high school senior from Capistrano Valley CA won the CIF Southern Section Division 2 Finals by eight seconds, running 16:20 for 3 miles.

Justyn Knight: The Syracuse senior won a close race at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships, running 29:01.1 for 10K.

Leonard Korir: The American distance ace came within nine seconds of the American record at the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon, running 59:52 for third place.

Ednah Kurgat: The New Mexico redshirt sophomore led her team to the title at the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships, running 19:20 for 6K and winning by seven seconds.

Amanda Mayoral: The high school senior from Cleveland NM won the championship race at the NXR Southwest Regional by four seconds, running 17:14 for 5K.

Amy-Eloise Neale: The Washington senior moved up 17 places in the final 2K of the NCAA D1 Cross Country Championships to finish second in 19:27 for 6K.

Tristan Shelgren: The high school senior from St. John's Prep MA won the Massachusetts All-State Meet by 22 seconds, running 15:15 for 5K.

Aidan Troutner: The high school senior from Timpview UT won the championship race at the NXR Southwest Regional by two seconds, running 14:50 for 5K.

Katelyn Tuohy: The high school sophomore broke her own Bowdoin Park course record by 18 seconds at the New York Federation Championships. She won by 40 seconds, running 16:52 for 5K.
