Forecast for cool temps, rain at NXN

The lastest weather forecast calls for 45 degree temperatures and a 95 percent chance of rain during the Nike Cross Nationals races on Saturday morning at Glendoveer Golf Course.

That means its likely rain at some point during the event -- perhaps not the entire time -- from 9:30 until noon.

Light rain was falling on the course Friday night. Although most runners said the course was in pretty good condition at the run-through earlier in the afternoon, it will not get any drier prior to the boys championship race at 10:05 a.m. and the girls race at 11:35 a.m.
