Registration for the SAT and ACT: Registration
for the SAT or the ACT can be done online at the following addresses:

Taking the SAT or ACT soon? Don't get nervous.
Get prepared. Taking the time now to prepare could get you better
results. And don't forget practice makes perfect. Visit some
of these sites for practice and helpful tips. Most of these sites
are free, although registration may be required to download free
software; and some charge for services.
- www.powerprep.com;
offers free software, such as one for "diagnosing" SAT
performance and potential areas for improvement, as well as helpful
test-taking strategies. Although access to this software
requires registration, it is free. More comprehensive
preparatory and/or digital trainer software for SAT/ACT are
available for a price. Includes free daily tips for taking the
SAT or ACT.

contains sample tests (generally you can preview
practice tests for free, but must pay to actually take tests

offers information about tests offered by the College Board,

offers free diagnostic software for SAT by Kaplan.
Registration is required to obtain a copy of this
software.

provides a very brief overview of SAT and ACT and a few tips for
taking the tests. Free diagnostic software is offered, but
requires registration. Also provided information on books and
other test preparation materials produced by Princeton Review.
