Capital Beltway Classic

Dear Coach,

You and your high school boys' and girls' track and field teams are cordially invited to participate in the 2000 Capital Beltway Track and Field Classic! The meet will take place Saturday, April 15, 1999, at Long Reach High School 6101 Old Dobbin Rd, Columbia, MD! This meet provides: 1) outstanding competition, 2) a state of the art all-weather, track and field complex, and 3) a great opportunity to tune up for the Penn Relays! The first running event will begin at 9:00am, and the first field events will begin at 9:15am.

Meet entry forms are on this web page. They should be sent to: 2000 Capital Beltway Classic, C/O Sam Caldwell, 9106 McHenry Lane, Lanham, MD 2070, and received by us no later than April 8, 2000. Faxes and express mail are also acceptable. Our FAX number is 301-577-0381, and you may call 301-577-5293 to verify receipt. 

Teams may enter only 2 athletes in each open event and only 2 relay teams. There is a $60 entry fee for each boys' team and a $60 fee for each girls' team. Checks and money orders should be made payable to the "Maryland Elite Athletic Club."

The following information is attached for your convenience: directions to Long Reach High School, a schedule of events and entry forms. Please make additional copies of the entry forms, if necessary.
