PREPS AT OLYMPIC TRIALS

Friday 7/21 -- The last four preps entered in the Trials dropped out.  Three HS girls in the pole vault -- Stacie Manuel, Amy Linnen, and Samantha Shepard -- all no heighted in the preliminary round.  The opening height of 13-2.25 was enough to whittle the big field down to 16 finalists.  

It was the same story in the men's high jump for Paul Klemic, who went three and out at 2.20m (7'02.50).  

MONTREAL - US wins US-Canada juniors meet - US men and women each win 13 golds to Canada's 6.  Khalilah Carpenter triple paces women.
