DyeStat will bring you national listings of cross country performances for the 2000 season.  These are not rankings - cross country times are inherently not comparable.  But the fastest runners in the country should be recognized.  DyeStat will publish the national leaders meeting cutoffs at 3 miles and 5k.

Mountain Home sr Eric Gross 13:03 2.5 miles, course record, in 104 degree heat.
MI: Benzie Central Inv. - Rockford
21, Dathan Ritzenhein 14:58 in White Division.
UT:
Grass Relays, American Fork - Mountain View sweeps team titles in 5-leg relays, 2 miles per leg, with Dustin Bybee the best boy at  9:59, tying the course record.  East sr Phoebe Ko was the only crack in Mountain View's domination as she turned in the best girls leg at 12:14.
WI: Rebel Inv - Racine Case freshman Alexandra Devinny 13:54 4k over tough UW-Parkside course. Serena Ramsey 14:19 leads Waukesha West 43.

AL: Mobile Challenge - Ryan Deak 15:35 3 mi leads Maclay FL 67 to victory in the Invitational division.  Mt. Carmel LA 51 wins the girls Invitational, with Kara Newell, McClay, the individual winner at 12:22 2 mi.

Campbell County WY girls dominate Bowman SD

Northern Hills Invitational - A warmup for two nationally ranked girls teams entered in the Great American Race of Champions turned into a rout for Campbell County WY, 31-50, with Alicia Craig winning in record time.

Billy Mills Classic - the movie "Running Brave" inspired the St. Johns FL team to win their district championship last year, so this year they are running a meet in Billy Mills name.
