Girls 400: 
soph Tiondra Ponteen 55.30

The girls 400 was a matchup between two of the best runners in the country:  Washington Irving NY soph Tiondra Ponteen and Uniondale NY sr Shevonne Stoddart, already signed to run for South Carolina.  In the end, youth was served as Ponteen burst on top and never let go before finishing in a meet record and new US#1 time of 55.30.
