German decathlete Till Steinforth, who competes for Nebraska, broke the Drake Relays decathlon record on Thursday with his final score of 8,265 points in Des Moines. It's the highest score in the world so far this year.
The UNC trio of Parker Wolfe, Ethan Strand and Colton Sands went 1-2-3 in the men's 5,000 meters at Penn Relays. All went under the meet record of 13:33.7. Wolfe won the race in 13:31.09 and his teammates finished within a second.
