The Oregon Women Look to Dominate on the Track While the Georgia Women Look to Do the Same on the Field at the NCAA Indoor Championships

The NCAA released the entries list for the NCAA Indoor Championships on Tuesday. Every year there is some gamesmanship with which events athletes will compete in, but this year's entries seem to have fallen out about as expected.

The Oregon women enter the championship meet as favorites, with a strong potential to score in eight events, all on the track, sometimes with large point totals. The only track events where there is no representation from the Ducks are in the 400 meters and the mile.

Meanwhile, the Georgia women will be busy in the field events. High jump, long jump, triple jump and the pentathlon could all be big scoring events for the Bulldogs.

Arkansas could also enter the picture with big points potential in the pole vault and the pentathlon.

The NCAA Indoor Championships are March 10-11 in College Station, Texas.
