Jane Hickey Rises To No. 6 All-Time With Fast 600 Meters At Molloy Stanner GamesPublished by
Ursuline School Standout Runs Nation-Leading 1:28.68 By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor John Nepolitan Photo Jane Hickey of the Ursuline School became the second-fastest indoor 600-meter runner in New York state history on Sunday at the Molloy Stanner Games, running 1:28.68 at The Armory in New York. Hickey is currently US#5 in the 400 meters, US#6 in the 500 meters and US#3 in the 1,000 as well. Sophomore Cali Gabrielson of Mt. Sinai NY won the girls invitational 3,000 meters in 9:53.47 to move up to US#5. The girls from Ridge NJ won the 4x800 relay in a US#7 time of 9:29.46. Claudel Marc Chery from North Rockland NY won the boys invitational 3,200 in a US#10 time of 9:14.46. North Hunterdon NJ won the boys 4x800 relay in a time of 8:04.54, good for US#9. Riley Lynch of Shenendehowa NY (5:00.99) won the girls invitational mile and Andrew Senf and Anthony Anatol, teammates at Ward Melville NY, went 1-2 in the boys mile.
