With many of the top athletes either not running or not running hard with conference championships happening next week most of the big action happened at NYRR Millrose Games. The Ducks that competed in New York ran school records and collegiate leaders. William Barnes Kent State - At his home tune-up Barnes took the collegiate lead over 60m hurdles at 7.67. His gradual development at Kent State Edward Cheserek Oregon - Ed used his 60th performance at The Armory to push the pace in the 3000m. He wasn't able to close like normal but broke Galen Rupp's school record in the 3000m with a time of 7:40.51. Marthaline Cooper Winthrop - Marthaline took the collegiate lead in the weight throw at 71-11 1/2 in a very competitive event on the national level. Blake Haney Oregon - Blake ran in the elite mile and was seventh at 1500m in a pr 3:40.09 with the only other collegian being Jordy Williamsz (3:43.85) who dropped off the pace after 1200m. Haney finished eighth in a pr and school record 3:56.36 after last year's NCAA indoor runner-up Cristian Soratos passed him in the last 200m. Brendon Rodney LIU Brooklyn - He won the Northeast Conference titles in prs and a collegiate leading 200m of 20.46 and won the 60m title in 6.78.
