Phoenix teammates Sophia Stubblefield and Kyla Potratz finished second and third in the Oregon Class 4A girls race at Lane Community College. Stubblefield ran 19:18.9 and Potratz was timed in 19:20.3. Their hometown of Phoenix was badly damaged by fire in September of 2020.
