Quanesha Burks, an adidas professional, won the women's long jump title with a first-round effort of 22-2.25 (6.76m) at the Toyota USATF Indoor Championships at Albuquerque Convention Center in New New Mexico. Burks improved from runner-up last year to capture her first national indoor crown, in addition to placing fifth in the 60-meter dash final in 7.20 seconds.
