Kaylin Edwards, a junior at Long Beach Wilson High, won the girls 300-meter hurdles in 42.03 seconds and contributed to a victory in the 4x400-meter relay in 3:43.72 at the CIF Southern Section Masters meet at Moorpark High. Edwards also placed second in the 100-meter hurdles in a wind-aided 14.11 seconds, in addition to running on the Bruins' 4x100-meter relay that finished fifth in 46.62 seconds.
