Mia Torrecillas, a senior at Bakersfield Highland High, won her second 1,600-meter title in three years by clocking 4:55.81 at the CIF Central Section Masters at Buchanan High's Veterans Memorial Stadium in Clovis, Calif. Torrecillas, who also prevailed in the 1,600 in 2022, added a ninth-place effort in the 3,200 by clocking 11:06.24.
