LeRoy Horton, representing Team Blackout Elite Track and Curtis Senior High in Washington, won the boys 200-meter title by clocking 22.25 into a strong headwind at the USATF National Junior Olympic Track and Field Championships at Hornet Stadium at Sacramento State. Horton, entering his junior year, also took third in the 100-meter dash final in a wind-legal 10.97 seconds.
