Morgan Beadlescomb of Michigan State, a five-time national finalist, finished fifth at the NCAA Division 1 Cross Country Championships at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Fla. Beadlescomb covered the 10-kilometer layout in 28:50.6 to help the Spartans place 30th overall with 681 points.
