BYU freshman Jane Hedengren broke the NCAA outodor record in the 5,000 meters on Friday night at the Bryan Clay Invitational with her winning time of 14:50.50. Hedengren's indoor best of 14:44.79 from last December is the fastest overall time by a woman in collegiate history.
