Ashanti Elie, a senior at Rocklin Whitney High in California, won the girls high jump with a third-attempt clearance at 5-7.25 (1.71m) at the Stanford Invitational at Cobb Track and Angell Field in Palo Alto, Calif. Elie also finished sixth in her 100-meter heat in 12.53 seconds, placing 12th overall.
