Gustafson 10th at MIAC ChampionshipsPublished by
Frank Gustafson earned the highest men's cross country finish by a HU runner in five years with a 10th place effort at the MIAC Championships in Northfield Saturday. The sophomore toured St. Olaf's 8K course in 26:13.2 for the best Piper showing since Brendan Ruter was sixth and Nate Dobbins seventh in the 2012 meet. By finishing in the top 15, Gustafson will be named to the All-Conference team when it is formally announced. Fernando Benitez narrowly missed joining Gustafson on the team, finishing 16th in 26:35.9. Read the full article at: hamlineathletics.com
