NASHVILLE - The Lipscomb track and field squad is back in action this weekend as they travel to Columbia, South Carolina for the South Carolina Invitational. 

The meet is set to begin on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Carolina Indoor Track and Field Complex and continue through Saturday morning, starting at 10.

The competition in Columbia will include host South Carolina, Mercer, Appalachian State, Liberty, Kennesaw State, Jacksonville, Charleston, South Carolina State, Florida Atlantic, USC Upstate, Howard, and The Citadel among others. 

Lipscomb had last weekend off after closing out January with the Gladstein Invitational in Bloomington, Indiana. At the Gladstein Invite, Junior Jonthan Imes paced the Bisons with a win in the 200m in 48.22 seconds. Overall, the team grabbed two wins and set two school records.
