The City University of New York Athletic Conference (CUNYAC) announced its 2022 Fall Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll for the fall season on Thursday afternoon, handing out 315 citations for classroom excellence during the Fall 2022 semester. Nine student-athletes from Medgar Evers were among the honorees, including men's soccer's Taye Simon, Hamou Soumare, and James Hyacinthe, women's soccer's Kalisa Mckenzlie, Kelis Pearsall, and Sheriann Jones, women's volleyball's Djemilie Jabouin and Jacqueline Council, and women's cross country's Te'Mia Durand. Following the announcement of the honorees, Medgar Evers Director of Athletic Chetara Murphy praised the commitment of the nine aforementioned scholar aces.
