With lots of hard work and determination, a lifelong dream of making Team USA came to fruition for Christina Manning, a former Ohio State track and field star, on Saturday (June 24) at the USATF Outdoor Championships in Sacramento, Calif. Competing in the 100m hurdles in a group of 24 women, Manning needed to finish first, second, or third to secure her berth to the IAAF World Championships, and that she did.
