Casey Jermyn, Jeff Messer Named USTFCCCA High School Cross Country Coaches of the YearPublished by
Bozeman's Jermyn, Desert Vista's Messer honored by USTFCCCA By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced Thursday that Casey Jermyn was the organization's Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year and that Jeff Messer won the Girls high school award. Jermyn, since leading Bozeman MT to the Nike Cross Nationals title in December, has so far not been offered a role with the high school's track and field program. STORY Messer led Desert Vista AZ to a fantastic season in Arizona, including the Division 1 state title, and the team finished sixth at NXN. Fayetteville-Manlius coach Bill Aris won the award in 2015 and 2016. More news |
