Top Notre Dame Runner, Anna Rohrer, to Miss 2017 Cross Country SeasonBy Adam Kopet Anna Rohrer will miss the 2017 cross country season, according to Charlie Ortega Guifarro of the Observer. The Notre Dame junior has an injured hamstring. A recent procedure to stimulate the healing process requires several weeks off from training. The past two cross country seasons have been good for Rohrer. As a freshman, she finished sixth at the NCAA Division 1 Championships. As a sophomore she finished third. However, this continues to be a rough 2017 for Rohrer. In the spring, she entered the NCAA Division 1 Outdoor Championships with the top time in 10,000 meters. But a back injury sustained late in the season meant she was only able to manage a 16th-place finish. More news |
