Indiana champion chooses Colorado

Gabe Fendel of Hamilton Southeastern IN, currently the No. 3-ranked runner in the country, announced his decision to attend college at the University of Colorado next year. 

Fendel is undefeated so far this fall and won his sectional meet Saturday. He was 12th at Foot Locker nationals last year and ran 8:50.56 in the 3,200 meters at the Arcadia Invitational in April.
