Asafa Powell Announced for 111th NYRR Millrose Games

Asafa Powell will race at the 111th NYRR Millrose Games, according to a press release.

Powell has competed at four Olympic Games for Jamaica and has previously held the 100-meter world record.

He will compete against fellow Jamaican Omar McLeod and Great Britain's CJ Ujah in the 60-meter dash. McLeod is the World and Olympic champion in the 110-meter hurdles and World Indoor champion in the 60-meter hurdles.

Powell holds a personal best of 6.44 in the 60 meters, set at the 2016 IAAF World Indoor Championships in Portland.
