Reed Brown: After winning the Foot Locker Cross Country title, the Southlake Carroll TX senior focused on the mile and became the 10th prep to dip under the four-minute barrier at the Festival of Miles in St. Louis. Thomas Burns: The Miami Northwestern FL star ran the second-fastest 300-meter hurdles ever at Great Southwest when he clocked 35.25 seconds. Cameron Cooper: The Oak Park MI senior ran No. 5 all-time 1:47.59 to win the 800 meters at the USATF Junior Outdoor Championships in Sacramento. Tyrese Cooper: In addition to breaking several national class records, the sophomore from Norland FL smashsed the national record in the indoor 300 meters when he ran 32.87 at The Armory in New York. Trey Cunningham: He broke the World U-20 record in the 60-meter hurdles when he ran 7.40 seconds. The Winfield AL senior missed some action due to injury, but when he was on, he was sensational. Armand Duplantis: The junior from Lafayette LA became a global phenomenon in the pole vault, topping out at 19 feet, 4.25 inches at the Texas Relays. It was a World U-20 record. He also qualified for the World Championships and competed for Sweden, finishing ninth. Jordan Geist: The senior from Knoch PA threw 68-4 with the 16-pound shot to break the national high school record. With the regular 12-pound implement he broke the New Balance Nationals Outdoor record with 76-0 and also won the national title in the hammer in his only high school competiton. Brodey Hasty: The junior from Brentwood accomplished the rare feat of running under 8:46 for two miles both indoors and out. Only Jeff Nelson and Lukas Verzbicas have done that. Zachary Shinnick: The senior from Damien CA ran a shockingly fast 45.20 to zoom up the all-time list all the way to No. 8 at the USATF Junior Championships. Cooper Teare: The senior from St. Joseph Notre Dame CA flirted with the sub-four mile and ran a best of 4:00.16. He also ran 8:41.46 in the 3,200 meters to break the meet record in the signature event at the 50th Arcadia Invitational. Vernon Turner: The senior from Yukon OK reached rarefied air when he cleared 7-6 in the high jump on April 14. He took attempts at the national record, but graduated at No. 2 all-time. Hunter Woodhall: The inspirational double amputee from Syracuse UT became one of the nation's best quarter milers running on his blades. The Paralympic medalist broke the Utah all-time record in the 400 meters. Vote in the poll below the ad.
