Kenya's Conseslus Kipruto to Skip Indoors and Focus on Commonwealth GamesBy Adam Kopet The reigning Olympic and world 3,000-meter steeplechase champion from Kenya, Conseslus Kipruto, will not run indoors this year, with a plan to instead run at the Commonwealth Games, according to Xinhuanet. Kipruto has spent part of this winter in Europe racing cross country. That indicated he might also choose to race indoors. However, Kipruto says he will not compete indoors and is simply running cross country to increase his strength ahead of the Commonwealth Games.
