Tori Bowie Taking Part in New York Fashion Week as Valentino Model

Tori Bowie is bringing her track speed to the runways of New York City. The 2017 100-meter World champion is a model for Valentino.

In an interview with Faran Krentcil of Elle, Bowie talks about how she came to fashion after growing up a tomboy in Mississippi.

Bowie's participation in fashion week comes after she finished second in the 60 meters at the NYRR Millrose Games. Her time of 7.14 seconds was the fastest she has ever opened her season in the 60.

The New York Fashion Week begins Thursday.
