Sara Hall to Return to Frankfurt Marathon Where she Finished Fifth in 2017

Sara Hall announced Thursday on Twitter that she will return Oct. 28 to the Frankfurt Marathon.

It’s official— I’m headed back to Frankfurt to run the @ffm_marathon October 28th!! Loved my experience there last year & can’t wait to take a shot at a new PR mixing it up in the fastest women’s field ever assembled!

Hall finished fifth in the 2017 edition of the race, running a then personal-best 2:27:21. She followed that up by winning the 2017 USATF Marathon Championships less than two months later.

This year Hall improved her personal best at the Ottawa Marathon, running 2:26:20.

More recently, Hall won the USATF 20-kilometer Championships in New Haven, Connecticut, on Monday, running 1:09:04.
